Photomatix Pro combines any number of various shots in a scene with high contrast in one image with details and all shades. Photomatix Pro - independent system which expands a dynamic range of photographers. The product allows users to mix shots and to restore local details from High Dynamic Range the images created from repeated exhibiting. In addition to Tone Mapping, Photomatix Pro offers 6 methods of mixing of shots, support of 16 bits and batch operation of the data.
Photomatix Pro from MultimediaPhoto. It is an aaplet of that do our life easier. Photomatix allows to automate "assemblage" of shots removed in a mode ýêñïîâèëêè in one image with a maximum quantity of details. It is possible to choose one of six various methods of assemblage, each of which is constructed on the algorithm.
The program also can automatically create HDR Image (High Dynamic Range - the image with the expanded dynamic range, 32 bits), using the EXIF-information which is written down by the chamber. Further such image it is possible to lead to a dynamic range of an output equipment (the monitor, for example). Formats TIFF are supported, including RGBE (.hdr), OpenEXR (.exr) and Floating Point, a source can be or file HDR or TIFF 48 bits. The program can convert RAW files Canon, Nikon and Fuji in format HDR.
There is a batch operation possibility (with possibility of automatic alignment of pictures). Photomatrix reads and writes down files of formats JPEG, TIFF 24 and 48 bits (and also Floating Point), Radiance RGBE, OpenEXR, BMP (version Mac – only reading), PNG (only in version Mac), PSD (only reading). For fans – there are certain manual options.
If you have ever photographed a high contrast scene, you know that even the best exposure will typically have blown out highlights and flat shadows. Photomatix offers two ways to solve this problem:
›Exposure Blending: Merge differently exposed photographs into one image with increased dynamic range.
›Tone Mapping: Reveal highlight and shadow details in an HDR image created from multiple exposures. The tone mapped image is ready for printing while showing the complete dynamic range captured.
Photomatix Pro is a stand-alone program that runs on Mac OS X and Windows 98/Me/2000/XP/Vista. The Tone Mapping tool is also available separately as a plugin compatible with Photoshop CS2.
